About Us
AMG Registered Accountants and Auditors has been operating in South Africa as Oduro Tomlinson & Associates, a firm of chartered accountants, with a combined experience of some 35 years in providing large, medium and small sized companies as well as the public sector and individuals, with customized financial services. In a bid to widen its scope of service and strengthen capacity to maximise client satisfaction, Oduro Tomlinson & Associates took a strategic decision to merge with AMG Global (www.amgglobal.co.zw), and thus create a new firm as the sole brand representative in South Africa.
AMG Global is an international brand of an auditing firm of Chartered Accountants, which opened its doors to business on 1 August 2001, bringing to the market varied professional experience spanning over 80 years in its partners and other professional staff, collectively. This brand has managed to grow in leaps and bounds over a short period of time. It is now fully represented in Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and South Africa, and Madagascar. AMG Global intends to be the accounting and auditing brand of choice not only in the SADC region, but also in the rest of Africa, as purely a home grown brand by Africans for Africa. The merger was finalised and formalised in May 2006, hence giving birth to the new name AMG GLOBAL CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS (Registered Accountants and Auditors), hereafter referred to as AMG.
